ES prep was good today. I want to stick to mostly charts today.
Another blogger wrote about how Chicago locals get in and do their business and then leave. I have been keeping that in mind which has helped me only hit the best sequences lately and not re engage after the edge is reduced like this afternoon.
The one notable thing today is that I opened with an overaggressive short. It was a trade based on a pattern. There was some feel but feel can be wrong, especially on top of a support zone.
I need to remember that I simply do better when I wait for the price to make it's move and then play the continuations. Even if I miss the initiation point. My win rate skyrockets when I wait.
Check out the July 28 and 29 posts if you have not already. There is a ton of useful analysis in those posts.
